The transition to electric vehicles (EVs) is gaining momentum, and with it comes the need for reliable EV charging infrastructure. ComEd’s EV Make-Ready Infrastructure Program offers valuable rebates that can significantly reduce the financial burden of installing EV chargers. At Green Light National, we help our clients navigate this process to ensure they secure these rebates in advance, providing peace of mind and facilitating a smoother project journey.
Benefits of Reserving ComEd EV Rebates
Securing ComEd EV rebates ahead of time has several key advantages:
- Peace of Mind: Customers can move forward with their EV charging projects knowing that financial incentives are already in place.
- Contractor Confidence: Contractors can proceed with installations, assured that funds will be available upon project completion.
- Financial Assurance: Reserved rebates alleviate financial concerns, making it easier for customers to commit to EV infrastructure investments.
How to Qualify
For a project to qualify for ComEd’s EV Make-Ready Program rebates, it must meet the following requirements:
- Approved Site Plan: A fully approved site plan is necessary.
- ComEd New Business Approval: If applicable, approval from ComEd New Business is required.
- Timely Completion: The project must be completed within six months.
